Rental Terms & Conditions
By renting with Sweet T's Pageant Rentals you are entering into a legal agreement and bound by these terms and conditions. We recommend you review these before renting. We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement in the future and any changes will apply.
I, the customer, agree with the following statements:
- Reservation & Deposit: Please send a private message regarding the date and item you are needing. We require a deposit of $25, along with the signed rental agreement to hold your item and date. Your deposit goes towards your rental fee. However, deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Any remaining balance MUST be paid in full before item ships. We accept FB Pay, PayPal, Venmo and CashApp. Please advise to which payment method you'd like to use and we will send you payment info. * Also, a copy of your Driver's License or Identification Card is required for ALL first time renters.
- Mailing & Returning of ltem(s): Item will be mailed out via UPS or FedEx on the Monday before your pageant. If your pageant is NOT on a Saturday/Sunday or you will be leaving out of town for your pageant earlier in the week, please message us PRIOR to reserving item. We will message you the tracking number once item is shipped. (The estimated arrival time is 2-3 days.) The return mailing is the RENTER'S responsibility. We do NOT provide you with a Pre-Paid Shipping Label. You can ship back using UPS or FedEx. Item must be mailed back to us the following Monday after your pageant unless other arrangements have been made prior to us shipping out. Sometimes items will have to be mailed directly to next renter for the following weekend. If item is NOT mailed out to the next renter on that following Monday, you WILL be required to send via UPS Next Day or FedEx Next Day, which is more expensive. Tracking number MUST be sent to us, once shipped. We STRONGLY recommend that you purchase insurance when returning item. If NO insurance is purchased and item is lost or damaged upon return, the renter WILL be liable to pay for the item at which it is valued at. It is very important that item be mailed out the following Monday, so that we can have time to clean and have item ready to ship out for the following weekend, if needed. (Please let's be considerate of others!) If item is NOT mailed back the following Monday and NO message to make other arrangements has been sent, a $25 LATE FEE will be charged. Please mail back item(s) to the following address: Kayla Carter c/o Sweet T's Pageant Rentals, 203 24th Avenue, Apalachicola, FL 32320. Please ensure proper packaging of rented items to prevent damage. Place the item in the provided garment bag and return it in the original package. Failure to return the garment bag will result in a $25 fee.
- Conditions & Care: Absolutely NO SMOKING around item and NO EATING or DRINKING when item is being worn unless you are using a cape or bib to protect item. We do clean and re-stone (if needed) all our items before sending out. Also, remember these items are rentals and may have slight flaws. We strive to thoroughly check items before sending out. However, if there is an issue with item once received, please contact us immediately, so we can address it. Due to some items having tulle, stones/diamonds, fringe, custom dyed, etc. please do NOT dry clean or wash items! Also, please do your best to NOT pin your pageant number on the tulle or satin skirts as this leaves HOLES in the material! Please use a dress magnet.
- Alterations & Repairs: Please CHECK measurements to ensure item will fit properly. NO refunds or credits will be given for item NOT fitting. We post measurements of each item, but always feel free to ask any questions. Most items have a corset back or elastic waistband, so they can easily be adjusted. Any alterations of item, such as pinning or temporarily adding any accessories MUST BE APPRVED prior to making the alterations, as well as being removed before mailing item back. We understand that accidents do happen! Just please be up front and honest with us and we will address any repairs with you that may be needed.
- Cancellations & Refunds: If your pageant is cancelled or if you are not able to attend your pageant, unfortunately deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have already paid in full and if your item has NOT yet been mailed out, a refund (minus deposit) will be refunded to you via the payment method you used. Also, please remember we have NO control over the mail! If item is not received in time due to UPS or FedEx ... NO refund will be given ... ONLY rental credit. Also, any rental credits must be used within ONE year from date issued or credit will be voided.
- Disclaimer: Sweet T's Pageant Rentals is not responsible for any wardrobe malfunctions that may occur during pageant. We reserve the right to file criminal charges or civil lawsuits if items are not returned. Sweet T's Pageant Rentals only rents and ships items within the United States.
